Green Earthing planted over 1,000 trees in Kangundo area in December 2012. This is how it looked at that time.

In 2024, some of the trees are now tall and flourishing. The school benefits from the trees by using prunned branches as fuel for cooking meals. The moringa tree leaves are used as vitamin boosters in every school meal cooked.
